“I was joking with my teammates. It feels like I just got traded here and started all over again,” said Kovalev. “I was able to get rid of bad thoughts and got bad things out of my mind. Just to get the win was most important, to settle everything and give us confidence to continue for the rest of the season.”

Les canadiens ont perdu 10 de leur 13 derniers match mais ce n’est pas un joueur qui doit prendre le blâme. Bob Gainey a sûrement pris cette décision pour semer l’esprit des joueurs. Le fait que Kovalev n’a pas donné son 100% dans les derniers matchs et le fait qu’il y a des tensions entre Carboneau et Kovi, je crois que M. Gainey a pris la bonne décision. Est-ce que Kovalev restera avec Montréal ?
