Alex Kovalev came back today against the Senators and helped Montreal win 5-3. He scored 1 goal and had 2 assists. Kovalev showed the crowd today what he was capable of and gave his 100% on the ice. After been sent home for two games by Bob Gainey the team now realized that Kovalev is a key player in the team.

“I was joking with my teammates. It feels like I just got traded here and started all over again,” said Kovalev. “I was able to get rid of bad thoughts and got bad things out of my mind. Just to get the win was most important, to settle everything and give us confidence to continue for the rest of the season.”

Welcome back Kovi !

Your comments are more than welcome..

“That’s not a question I can answer definitely now. I’d rather let a couple of days go by than to make a hasty decision right now. We’ll talk in the next 48 hours.”

“The team doesn’t need him the way he’s playing now,” affirme Gainey.
